# S24+ model-download repair — 0.1.2-s24-download

Install **AzraelInferenceWorker-0.1.2-s24-download-debug-2026-10-23.apk** over the existing app. Do not uninstall. Application ID and signing certificate match 0.1.1; versionCode is 3. Existing app-private identity, history and installed files are preserved by an ordinary Android update.

1. Open the app and confirm the title says **0.1.2**.
2. Tap **Load pinned S24+ CPU test-model details**.
3. Scroll to **Download and verify approved model**. The dedicated status and progress bar are directly above that button.
4. Tap the button, then tap **Download** in the approval dialog. This step needs internet and roughly 469 MiB of model data, plus 512 MiB free storage headroom. Controller URL, worker ID/token and notification permission are **not required**.
5. Keep the app open. Expect **Download starting**, **Downloading — bytes / 491400032 (percentage)**, **Verifying SHA-256**, then **Completed**. The screen stays awake while the visible app downloads.
6. To test interruption, tap **Cancel model download (keep partial data)**. Wait for **Cancelled**, then tap Download again and approve. Saved bytes resume if the publisher accepts Range; otherwise the status explicitly says it is restarting safely. The full SHA-256 is checked in both cases.
7. After **Completed**, tap **Verify installed model and run real benchmark**. This loads and executes the model locally; Cloud enrollment is not required. Keep the phone cool, with sufficient available RAM and battery. Record the displayed benchmark or any error.

If **Failed** appears, follow the publisher/network/storage explanation next to the button. Check Wi-Fi/mobile data, device date/time and VPN/filtering where relevant. Never disable TLS validation. Safe partials are retained on ordinary connection failure. If repeated response/range errors persist, cancel, wait, then use **Discard saved partial download** and retry from the pinned details. Do not remove an installed model unless you intend to replace it.

**Show sanitized diagnostics** records exception types/source frames and safe download failure codes; it excludes tokens, request bodies and URLs. Report the version, visible state, byte count and safe failure code. No physical S24+ download or inference test has been independently verified because ADB lists no device. A completed host transfer is not a phone result.

This remains a diagnostic/debug worker APK, not a completed commercial application. Background completion after leaving the app or Android process termination is not guaranteed; safe partials can be resumed through another explicit download attempt.

## Cloud pairing and first real network job — backend activated October 24

The existing Cloud now implements worker protocol v1, model inventory, benchmark storage and fenced jobs. The app's older enrollment-help paragraph describes the previous upgrade blocker; the authenticated compatibility button is the authoritative current check.

1. After the model download and successful local benchmark, sign into [the network website](https://azrael.40-160-149-243.sslip.io/#admin) with the **existing Master account**. An ordinary new registration cannot become Master. Do not send the password in chat. Live Master UI acceptance still requires normal owner sign-in; no authentication bypass was used.
2. In Master, **Enroll an owner phone** with a unique name such as `owner-s24-plus`. The reply gives its worker ID and one-time device token. Use the private reveal control when necessary. Never put this token in the forum or a public screenshot. Do not use a Master/account token in the worker app.
3. In the worker app, enter controller `https://40.160.149.243`, the issued worker ID and its token. Tap **Save device identity**, then **Check authenticated controller compatibility**. Expect the authenticated fenced protocol v1 confirmation.
4. Tap **Report measured benchmark to controller**, then **Start authenticated worker**. Keep the app open and watch its status. Adequate RAM, battery and safe thermal state remain required.
5. In website Master, **Queue one phone inference test** using that worker ID. It queues a bounded 32-token request. Use **Inspect a task result** with the returned task ID. Success requires `state: done`, a nonempty response and the matching device ID/model. Record the real benchmark and returned timings. A queued task is not a completed result.
6. If pairing is rejected, verify the individual worker token/ID and compatibility status. If the phone waits, ensure the benchmark report succeeded and the resource policy permits execution. Inspect task state/errors and sanitized app diagnostics. No paid fallback or reward settlement is enabled.

The software routes passed isolated HTTP tests with clearly labeled synthetic clients. **No S24+ network job has yet been independently verified.** The owner must complete these device-side steps, or enable ADB later for instrumented verification. The API's `independently_verified: false` explicitly prevents an authenticated report being mistaken for external attestation or a credit award.

Tras Completed, pulse **Verify installed model and run real benchmark**. Si aparece Failed, siga el mensaje de red/almacenamiento y consulte **Show sanitized diagnostics**. Esta versión conserva la interfaz de diagnóstico en inglés. Las pruebas físicas en el S24+ siguen pendientes.
